As Programme Manager you will be reporting directly to the Director of People and Innovation, managing a team of project managers, business analyst and service experts and driving a 2-year programme to overhaul the existing systems and processes used by the council. By the end of this period, we want to be in a position where we have optimised the use of the existing systems, enhanced them with complimentary modules and processes, and set a perfect platform for us to deliver further improvements by incorporating emerging technologies. About the role You will oversee multiple, simultaneous projects across corporate finance, procurement, and HR business areas. You will Translate strategic objectives, and known issues and risks into actionable plans, determine priorities, co-ordinate workstreams, manage resources and inspire others to work towards a common goal. Your specialist skills will be key to achieving these strategic and operational objectives. You will be engaging and collaboratively working with senior managers across a range of council services supporting their drive to deliver high-performing, cost-effective services. Additional information Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
