Job Summary
We are seeking two dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaners to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various settings; experience in a care environment would be beneficial. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. The hours are a 32-hour contract and a bank contract doing approximately 20 hours a week.
Duties
1. Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
2. Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and other communal areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
3. Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with company policies.
4. Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition.
5. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
6. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to requests from clients or guests.
7. Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
Experience
1. Previous experience in care environments is preferred but not essential.
2. Familiarity with cleaning products, techniques, and equipment is advantageous.
3. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
4. A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail is essential for success in this role.
