Job Duties:
1. Teach a Key Stage 2 class following the national curriculum guidelines
2. Plan and deliver engaging lessons to support the educational development of students
3. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to parents and colleagues as required
4. Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to create a positive learning environment
5. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and parent-teacher conferences
Required Qualifications:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
7. Experience teaching Key Stage 2 students
8. Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment procedures
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
9. Excellent classroom management skills
10. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
11. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
12. Strong organisational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
13. Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
14. Additional training in special educational needs (SEN)
Working Conditions:
15. Work in a school setting with regular term-time hours
16. May require occasional participation in extracurricular activities or events
17. Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and development
