We are seeking a proactive, detail-orientated and experienced Financial Planning Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Finance function, you will be responsible for providing high-quality financial planning, forecasting and analysis support to the Business Unit Director and other stakeholders.
This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent communication skills, as well as experience of working with financial systems and models. You will also have the ability to interpret complex data and present findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and significant experience in a similar role, preferably within the housing sector. They will be able to demonstrate their knowledge of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and financial reporting.
In return for your hard work and commitment, we offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including 25 days annual leave, contributory pension scheme, life assurance and free car parking.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be a self-starter with excellent organisational and time management skills. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and will be able to prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
This role involves:
* Providing high-quality financial planning, forecasting and analysis support to the Business Unit Director and other stakeholders
* Developing and maintaining accurate and reliable financial models and forecasts
* Preparing and presenting regular financial reports to senior management and external stakeholders
* Analyzing and interpreting financial data to inform business decisions
* Collaborating with colleagues to identify areas for process improvement and implementing changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
