Let us introduce the role AWE is recruiting an Asset Management Lead to lead the integration of asset management activities by identifying, appraising, optimising and prioritising options for the development of effective asset management plans, championing the implementation of the Asset Management strategy into the Estate Area, to ensure asset management objectives are achieved. You will provide subject matter expert support to the Group Leader Asset Operations in the application of Asset Management principles to be compliant with their AM responsibilities as well as promote the implementation of Asset Management by developing asset management capability and awareness, championing AM Principles and Best Practices to help establish a firm asset management culture at AWE. Who are we looking for? We do need you to have the following: Prior working experience within Asset Management or a maintenance, property environment Excellent Stakeholder Management skills with an ability to identify problems, evaluate options and recommend the optimum solution Whilst not to be considered a tick list, we’d like you to have experience in some of the following: Working knowledge of facilitation and change management principles Asset Management decision making; capital investment, operations and maintenance, lifecycle cost and value optimisation techniques, shutdowns and outage strategy and optimisation, aging assets strategy Investment appraisal and optimisation techniques Confidence to present and lead in stakeholder calls/meetings A forward thinking mindset - Understand the likely future direction and issues for the organisation You’ll need to have the ability to work calmly and constructively in a priority changing environment and be able to manage your own workload.
