Role Overview
The Pre-Construction Manager will assist the pre-construction team with new projects, create tender programmes, and prepare pre-construction paperwork. Responsibilities include tendering and client communications.
Responsibilities
1. Project Planning and Coordination: Conduct site inspections, develop project schedules, and coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors.
2. Budgeting and Cost Management: Prepare project budgets, conduct cost estimations, oversee procurement.
3. Risk Management: Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, ensure compliance with safety regulations.
4. Client and Stakeholder Communication: Maintain communication, provide updates, address concerns.
5. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare reports, obtain permits and approvals.
6. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor teams, foster collaboration.
Skills & Experience
* Strong project management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in project management software
* Knowledge of construction processes and safety regulations
* Ability to manage multiple projects
* MS Project, Tendering/tender assistance
