SolidWorks Draftsperson Permanent Full-Time
Salary - Circa £32,500 DOE

Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking a talented SolidWorks Draftsperson to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a rapidly expanding company, enhance your technical CAD skills, and contribute to the development of unique and industry-leading products.
Responsibilities, but are not limited to
Create and modify precise 2D and 3D technical drawings for both new designs and existing products using SolidWorks
Develop and maintain detailed assemblies and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support product manufacturing and assembly
Collaborate closely with the manufacturing team to ensure all drawings and technical documentation are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible
Review and improve designs to ensure manufacturability (Design for Manufacture - DFM)
Assist with product costing and component sourcing by liaising with suppliers for materials, components, and pricing
Produce and edit detailed technical documentation, spreadsheets, and reports in Microsoft Excel
Continuously improve technical drawing standards and ensure consistency across projectsExperiences required
Proficient in 3D CAD modelling using SolidWorks (or similar CAD software such as Inventor, Solid Edge, Fusion 360, Creo, CATIA, Onshape)
Strong experience in creating detailed technical drawings for manufacturing (DFM) and familiarity with manufacturing processes
Ability to create and manage complex assemblies and Bills of Materials (BOMs) in CAD software
Knowledge of engineering principles and ability to collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure designs are optimised for production
Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to review designs for accuracy and functionalityPackage
