Role Overview:
The Engineering Administrator is responsible for supporting the Contracts Manager in ensuring the successful delivery of projects across the organisation. This role focuses on driving project governance, standardisation, and best practices, ensuring alignment with business strategy while maintaining operational efficiency.
A key aspect of the role is coordinating engineer work streams, ensuring the engineering department operates effectively and adheres to company policies and procedures. The PMO Manager will also represent the department in customer meetings, produce compliance and progress reports, and take ownership of actions to ensure customer concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
Additionally, the role serves as a bridge between internal teams and external stakeholders, promoting collaboration and alignment to support company objectives. Strong organisational and administrative skills, along with a proactive approach to problem-solving, are essential. While experience in the engineering industry is not required, full training will be provided.

Duties of this role include:
1. Managing the updating of handover and progress reports for each site, maintaining internal systems to ensure transparency.
2. Preparing quotes.
3. Communicating with clients via phone and email regarding upcoming tasks or outstanding work, including generating correspondence.
4. Managing stock within the department to ensure sufficient supplies and equipment for ongoing projects and operations, including reporting any discrepancies to the Finance Director.
5. Conducting staff training on scheduling and reporting systems.
6. Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
7. Creating and distributing customer certification, including LD1 and NICEIC documentation.
8. Assisting with producing Health and Safety documents, such as CPP & RAMs.
9. Ensuring all engineering test equipment is maintained and calibrated.
10. Maintenance of simPRO including client and sites.
11. Follow and enforce all office engineering policies and procedures.
