Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Driver/Equipment Installer to join Bolton Council's Community Equipment Team on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week on a shift basis.
The Role:
1. Safely deliver and install disability equipment in homes and establishments.
2. Perform routine vehicle checks and ensure safe loading and transportation.
3. Collect and inspect equipment no longer required.
4. Conduct PAT testing on electrical adaptive equipment.
5. Maintain accurate records and assist with equipment decontamination and maintenance.
Requirements:
1. A full UK driving licence.
2. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
3. Ability to handle the physical demands of the role, including lifting.
4. Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
