Key Responsibilities for the Lead Quality Engineer:
* Lead and manage the quality department with complete autonomy to implement improvements and drive a right first time culture
* Develop and mentor a team, instilling a commitment to continuous improvement and excellence across all processes
* Oversee First Article Inspection Reports, ensuring alignment with ISO9001 and AS9100 standards
* Shape and maintain the Quality Manual, keeping procedures current with industry standards while supporting business needs
* Actively supervise production quality, verifying each step meets the highest standards
Working Hours:
* Monday to Thursday: 08:30 - 17:00
* Friday: 08:30 - 13:30
Who You Are:
* An ambitious Lead Quality Engineer with experience in a regulated industry and a strong desire to move into management
* Excited by the prospect of owning and developing a department, making key process improvements, and contributing to company growth
* Able to commute to Southampton or open to relocation, with the existing right to work in the UK
