Health and Safety Support Assistant
Due to the continued growth of the company, our client is looking for a Health and Safety Manager. As a Health and Safety Manager, you will understand the importance of providing valuable assistance to the Health and Safety Department.
1. Assisting with producing safe systems of work such as risk assessments and method statements.
2. Assisting and carrying out general audits.
3. Supporting safe working practices and maintaining a culture in which health and safety is a key priority.
4. Assisting with submitting Pre-qualification ITT Documents for tenders.
5. Assisting with keeping the company's health & safety accreditations up to date and compliant.
6. Reviewing subcontractor pre-qualifications questionnaires.
7. Reviewing subcontractor RAMS.
8. Generally helping the business with day-to-day health, safety, and environmental tasks.
Essential Requirements & Experience
1. Consideration for a Health and Safety Support who has been working within the construction industry; demolition experience is preferable.
2. A working knowledge of health and safety legislation and practices.
3. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
4. Must be pragmatic and professional where needed.
5. Team player with good communication skills.
6. Experience with Microsoft Office and a decent level of computer skills.
7. Full, clean driving licence.
Most of our contracts are Midlands-based; therefore, the ideal candidate will be located in the Midlands.
