Role Overview: We’re looking for a highly skilled, proactive, and adaptable Marketing Coordinator to be the go-to person for all ad-hoc marketing requests across the business. This role serves as the central marketing support function for other departments, ensuring that internal marketing needs are met efficiently without disrupting larger strategic initiatives. Unlike the core marketing team, which focuses on high-level campaigns and brand strategy, your focus will be on supporting internal teams with both their marketing needs and suggestions. You’ll act as a bridge between the marketing team and the rest of the business, coordinating incoming requests, gathering briefs, getting the required sign-off and delivering final assets. You’ll need to be confident in both creative and technical execution, working across email marketing, internal comms, and general marketing assets. With the ability to problem-solve, communicate effectively, and manage multiple requests, you’ll ensure that all internal marketing needs are handled efficiently and at a high standard. Key Responsibilities: Managing & Executing Ad-Hoc Marketing Requests Managing all incoming marketing requests - gathering requirements, assessing feasibility, and prioritising workload. Liaise with requesters and the marketing team to clarify objectives and obtain approvals where necessary. Ensure seamless communication with requesters, keeping them updated on progress and timelines. Creative & Digital Execution Independently design and build marketing materials - including emails and social graphics - in line with our brand guidelines. Manage and execute the Member Magic Moment project, handling requests from the team to recognise deserving members, identifying standout stories, coordinating personalised gifts with the warehouse team, and ensuring key moments are captured and repurposed for marketing and social content. Work within email marketing platforms, automation tools, CMS, and design software to execute requests end-to-end. Work with our in-house designers to ensure assets are optimised for performance, accessibility, and tracking. Organisation, Workflow & Reporting Maintain a centralised tracking system (e.g., Monday.com, Notion) to manage incoming requests and track progress. Assess and prioritise tasks effectively, ensuring deadlines are met without bottlenecks. Provide any necessary updates and reports to the marketing team and key stakeholders on request trends, project completions, and areas for improvement. Problem-Solving & Continuous Improvement Identify efficiencies and process improvements to streamline internal marketing requests. Act as the bridge between departments and the marketing team, ensuring all ad-hoc tasks align with broader marketing strategies. Be adaptable by jumping into various marketing tasks as needed to support other departments. Skills & Experience Required: Strong experience in email marketing, content creation, and campaign execution. Highly organised and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple requests and prioritise effectively. Excellent communication skills, confident in collaborating with teams and senior stakeholders. Skilled in creative and technical execution, including hands-on experience with email marketing platforms (such as Brevo), CMS, and automation tools. Problem-solving mindset, capable of taking ownership, finding solutions, and making informed recommendations while securing necessary approvals. Self-sufficient and confident working independently in a solo role. Experience with project management tools like Monday.com, Teamwork, or Notion is highly advantageous. Familiarity with creative software such as Figma or Photoshop is preferred. Experience with Google Analytics and spreadsheets for data collection and analysis is a plus. Experience in roles such as Marketing Assistant, Marketing Coordinator, Content Executive, Agency Coordinator, or similar content creation positions is highly desirable. This role is based full-time at our Gateshead offices. Hours for the role are Monday-Thursday with core hours of 9am-4pm and flexibility around start/finish times. Job Type: Full-time Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
