Financial Accountant Treatwell is looking for a Financial Accountant to work within the Group Finance team to support their daily activities. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and excellent analytical skills. You will have the opportunity to work in an international department and support the financial activities inside an international and fast-growing company. You will be responsible for: Assisting with the completion of group consolidated statutory financial statements under IFRS, including all disclosure notes. Assisting with the year end audit process, which involves liaising directly with the audit engagement team and preparing supporting documentation. Assisting with the completion of statutory accounts of the wider group, under local GAAP, which involves preparation of trial balances, calculating statutory adjustments, liaising with our advisors in each Country and ensuring all filing deadlines are met. Assisting with the completion of tax returns for the group, ensuring all filing deadlines are met. Assisting with other areas of compliance and reporting, including VAT returns and investor reporting. Assisting with the month end process ensuring accurate accounting records are maintained by completion of balance sheet reconciliations across the group. Development and maintenance of IFRS financial accounting/reporting policies group-wide, including assistance to roll out changes to policies, processes and systems. Working collaboratively with the wider finance team on non-business as usual project work Additional ad-hoc activities as required About you: Qualified ACA/ACCA/CA (or equivalent) A Top 20 practice background Excellent technical knowledge of IFRS Extensive experience of preparing or auditing financial statements under IFRS Bright, ambitious and conscientious with good attention to detail and high standards Highly motivated, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and to manage multiple projects and priorities Ability to solve problems logically and set out workpapers in a clear and concise manner Collaborative approach to working and an ability to build strong relationships with senior commercial, financial and legal partners Excellent Microsoft Excel skills About Treatwell Hi, we’re Treatwell.
