Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
My client is a leading Civil and Structural Engineer firm with a reputation for delivering high-quality projects across various sectors, including commercial, education, industrial, residential, healthcare, defence, and public sector.
They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural design, analysis, and project management. You will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity and safety of a variety of projects, including design, analysis, and project management.
Key Responsibilities of a Structural Engineer:
* Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building types, including commercial, residential, and industrial structures.
* Develop and review engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
* Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and drafters.
* Prepare project documentation, including calculations, drawings, and technical reports.
Qualifications of a Structural Engineer:
* A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
* 3-5 years of UK experience in structural engineering
* Chartered or working towards Chartership status
* Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and standards
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
