Join Our Team as a Complex Care Support Worker!
We are currently recruiting a team of wake-night Support Workers with experience in complex care, to assist our young client living in their loving family home which is a short drive from Crowborough.
We are committed to your success and will provide comprehensive, paid clinical training to ensure you’re equipped to meet our client’s needs confidently.
Our experienced team of Nurses and Field Care Supervisors will offer continuous support and guidance as you grow in your role.
The client:
Your responsibilities will include supporting our 4-year-old client with their bedtime routine, and any clinical intervention required throughout the night, this includes tracheostomy care, assisting with their ventilation, setting up PEG feeds and administering their medication.
Please note that tracheostomy experience is a must for this role.
Shift Pattern:
We offer both full-time and part-time positions, with a minimum commitment of two shifts per week.
* Type: Wake Nights
* Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 19:30 – 07:30
If you have additional availability and would be happy to travel to different locations, we have other clients in the local area which can be discussed.
Other shifts are available Monday through Sunday. Choose your preferred days, and this will constitute your fixed schedule.

Responsibilities
* To closely observe and monitor the client for any clinical intervention required.
* To be fun, friendly and engaging with the client around their interests and hobbies.
* To be an advocate for the client, working in their best interest and in accordance with Superior Healthcare's policies and procedures.
* To show the client dignity and respect when providing personal care to the client.
* To regularly refer to and follow care plans written by the Nurse Manager to ensure exceptional person-centred care is provided.
Requirements
* 6 months professional care experience in the UK based in a healthcare setting.
* Previous experience working as a Support Worker including experience with clients who have a fitted tracheostomy.
* A full UK drivers license with access to your own vehicle.
* To be confident working with children, with the ability to make shifts fun and engaging.
