The successful candidate must have a sound knowledge of motor vehicles, be computer literate, possess excellent communication skills, and have the ability to work under his/her own supervision. Previous experience within a dealership is preferred; however, training will be given to the successful candidate.

Manufacturer training will also be provided. This will require attendance of overnight stays for the duration of 2-3 nights. Online training courses are also provided as part of the overall training package. The main areas that the role will be covering are as follows:
1. As an experienced and qualified Technician, you will have the ability to accurately assess, diagnose, and repair all makes of motor vehicles.
2. Knowledge of current engine management systems is an advantage; however, full training will be given.
3. Previous main dealer experience is desired but not essential. Only fully qualified people should apply.
4. Qualified MOT Tester is not essential but would be an advantage.
The hours per week will be Monday to Thursday 8:15 am – 5:00 pm and Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm with a ½ hour lunch and every fourth Saturday from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm.
Salary OTE approx £38k - £44k (uncapped) depending on experience.
