About the company: Glaize is a London-based nail care brand. We make made-to-measure stick-on gel manicures that are chip-free, long-lasting and vegan. Having appeared on Dragons’ Den in March 2024, it’s a really exciting time to join the team, with plenty of opportunities to grow and develop. We are looking for a social media assistant with a passion for TikTok to join our marketing team. Main responsibilities: Planning & researching ideas for social media content Filming and editing TikTok videos Hosting TikTok Lives (min. 3 x per week) Basic reporting on TikTok performance Influencer research & outreach (TikTok & Instagram) This is a hybrid, London-based role. Please note that this role requires natural nails (e.g. no shellac, BIAB or acrylics). You should be comfortable appearing on social media, wearing Glaize gels. Potential to be made a permanent role. Salary: £13.85/hour, 20 hours per week (Spread across at least 3 days per week) Questions & Task: Why do you want to apply for this role? How do you normally do your nails? Video task Video task description: Create a thumb-stopping TikTok video for Glaize, which should be under 30 seconds long. Specifics: Create a video for Glaize’s TikTok account, aimed at reaching new audiences Think about how your video could fit into our social media strategy as part of a wider content series, rather than just a one-off We don’t expect you to have Glaize gels in order to film your video - feel free to improvise Your video should be fun, entertaining and engaging. Don’t be afraid to show your personality Add appropriate background music or sounds, as well as text overlay or other visual elements where appropriate Demonstrate a good understanding of what works on TikTok, but don’t forget to bring your unique creative flair to make the video stand out as well Make sure that we can see your hands A big part of this role will be demonstrating Glaize gels, so you should be comfortable showing your hands on screen Evaluation Criteria: Some things to keep in mind when creating your video Creativity: How original and creative is your approach? Engagement: Does the video capture and maintain the viewer's attention? Is it likely to be shared, liked and commented on by our TikTok audience? Who do you think the Glaize customer is? Aesthetic: Visual appeal is important - how well do you use visual elements such as shots, composition, and text overlays to convey the information? Brand Alignment: Is the video in line with Glaize’s brand and tone of voice? Copy: Did you use relevant and trending keywords to maximise the video's reach?
