Job Title: Mechatronic Engineer (Field Service)
Description: We are hiring for our client, a dynamic company based in Craigavon, seeking a skilled Mechatronic Engineer to join their team. This position offers a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £55,000, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be involved in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and supporting the commissioning of systems on customer sites, among other duties.

The Role:
* Perform on-site mechanical and electrical/electronic troubleshooting and problem-solving.
* Assist with the commissioning of systems at customer sites.
* Provide post-implementation customer support and troubleshooting.
* Participate in the manufacturing of harvesting systems at company premises.
* Build control panels and wire machines as needed.
* Utilize Schneider control systems and PLCs.
* Maintain effective communication with clients, suppliers, and team members.
* Read and interpret detailed electrical and engineering drawings.
* Demonstrate engineering expertise to improve products and services.
* Engage in research and development projects, both in-office and hands-on.
* Collaborate with the design team in R&D to refine and improve the product range.
The Person:
* BSc in Mechatronics Engineering or a similar field.
* Minimum of 5 years post-qualification engineering experience.
* Proficiency in reading detailed electrical and engineering drawings.
* Strong mechanical and electronic/electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Experience in building, commissioning, and advancing product development.
* Attention to detail, good organizational skills, and ability to prioritize in changing situations.
* Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion.
* Ability to complete on-site installations and commissioning of systems.
* Capable of maintaining technical specifications.
