The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering therapeutic interventions to children and young people, working both independently and as part of the wider practitioner team. This role involves delivering school-based wellbeing workshops, facilitating one-to-one interventions in follow-up clinics, and presenting to groups of young people while introducing accessible resources and guidance. A strengths-based approach will be central to practice, utilizing the My Story method in both group work and individual consultations. The candidate will also facilitate peer support interventions, encouraging engagement and collaboration among children and young people. Additionally, they will contribute creative input to promote services across social media platforms. Maintaining confidential case notes and records in a timely and secure manner using the specified case management systems is essential. Building and nurturing strong links with other agencies and services, as well as having a thorough understanding of local support networks for signposting and referrals, will be key aspects of the role. The candidate must proactively recognize and respond to child protection and safeguarding concerns, ensuring risk is managed effectively. High-quality written notes must be completed promptly using service databases. The role also involves developing and creating high-quality materials for use in wellbeing workshops and one-to-one intervention clinics.
