The Role
We currently have an exciting part-time opportunity for an experienced Receptionist to join our team in Richmond. This role is responsible for interacting with customers (in person at reception, via phone, email, and internal systems) to generate positive encounters using a service-oriented approach. Act as the voice of the organisation, providing excellent service to customers in a timely manner. We look forward to working with someone who has a passion for providing a high quality of customer service, has excellent communication skills, and possesses demonstrated experience dealing with difficult customers.
Responsibilities
Reception
1. Greet people visiting the organisation, determine the purpose of their visit and direct them to the appropriate place
2. Ensure that calls are answered in conformity to defined company standards
3. Operate telephone switchboard to receive and forward calls
4. Generate order or repair documentation and match with jobs prior to dispatch
5. Receive payments and record receipts for services
6. Calculate and quote prices or rates for products or services
7. File and maintain records
Customer Service Administration (Support Role)
1. Create the repair order as per guidelines
2. Perform spare parts interpretation and create estimate
3. Handle watches as per company standard
4. File documentation
5. Provide indirect assistance with customer escalations
Health & Safety
1. Follow occupational health and safety policies and pro-actively raise any concerns that may arise
2. Report situations which could result in someone getting hurt
Skills and Experience
1. Excellent presentation
2. Strong communication skills (speaking and writing)
3. Accurate data entry skills
4. Excellent telephone etiquette
5. Problem solving skills
6. Decisive, firm, courteous, customer-oriented
7. Proficient in basic computer knowledge, SAP / similar ERP system & Microsoft Office
8. Technical knowledge in the watch making industry advantageous
