We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team and lead our procurement activities, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals and maintaining the highest standards of quality across the business.
What you’ll do:
In this exciting new role, you will develop and execute a long-term procurement strategy in collaboration with the UK business and TSG Group companies. Working closely with the UK finance team, you will develop, refine, and automate procurement processes, engaging with key stakeholders to assess risk, review purchasing strategies, and identify potential cost-saving and improvement opportunities across a variety of TSG UK growth business areas, including EV Charge, Gas and Solar.
Bringing your own level of expertise and experience to the business, you will perform the following:
1. Manage relationships with designated suppliers to ensure quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness targets are achieved.
2. Collaborate closely with Pre-Construction and Engineering teams during project development.
3. Lead contractual negotiations with key strategic suppliers on NDA’s, terms & conditions, and supplier framework agreements.
4. Manage forecasts and inventories, maintaining accurate records of cost, process, and performance analysis.
5. Keep up-to-date on technology changes and provide monthly updates to the senior leadership team.
6. Produce and analyse supply chain reports, identifying trends, and providing feedback to senior management and Group.
7. Ensure compliance with all applicable procurement and purchasing laws and regulations.
8. Recruit, support, train, and mentor supply chain staff, leading a lean organization.
9. Lead working groups with Sub-contractor Manager and Logistics team.
10. Collaborate with the Group Purchasing function.
11. Assist commercial teams in the preparation and submission of RFQs.
12. Identify areas for improvement and continually drive performance and business results.

You are a strategic thinker with sound judgment and a strong operational focus. Your background in procurement activities has finely tuned your natural influencing and negotiation skills and you are adept at forging robust relationships across a broad range of stakeholders. Ultimately, you excel in a dynamic environment where you are effective at adapting your own approach to meet the demands of changing business needs.
The following qualifications, skills and attributes will set you up for success in this role:
13. Purchasing qualification (CIPS L3 or similiar), or extensive demonstrable experience to match
14. Strong mechanical / electrical engineering knowledge and/or a business administration degree
15. Significant experience delivering value in a similar procurement leadership role, with strong experience across corporate, professional services, and projects
16. Background in power, renewables, e-mobility, or construction industries
17. Strong contract negotiating capabilities in challenging supply chain conditions.
18. Ability to multitask under pressure to meet set deadlines and targets while maintaining accuracy.
19. Strong planning skills with a logical and systematic approach to work, capable of developing and delivering reports, designing processes and flowcharts.
