Actuarial Consultant, Public Sector Pensions
Salary : £60,000-£115,000
Location : London or Edinburgh- hybrid
I am working with a Public Sector organisation, whose Actuarial team provides support and advice on public service pensions, looking to expand its team of experienced, qualified Actuaries.
The team are hiring at multiple levels, from Qualified Actuaries to support on projects, to those with significant experience to lead on clients and notifications:
The role:
* Advising on Public Service Pension Schemes
* Maintaining/ building on existing client relationships
* Working with clients to move forward initiatives that add value to the public sector
* Managing/ delivering on projects
* Managing cost controls for schemes, focusing on the long-term benefits and objectives
The individual:
* Qualified Actuary
* 2 years minimum experience for supporting roles, up to 15 years experience for Lead roles
* Ideally experience gained in UKDB pensions with an EBC
* Strong commercial skills and client management experience
