Job summary We are looking to employ an enthusiastic, pro-active and forward-thinking Practice Nurse or Nurse Associate on a part time basis, for approximately 24 hours per week, ideally over 3 days. Main duties of the job We are looking for a qualified nurse or nurse associate to work within our team, to provide our patients with high quality care and to run clinics such as childhood immunisations, dressings, chronic disease reviews, contraceptive checks, injections, cervical screening, ear irrigation etc. We would be keen for applicants to have prior experience in these areas, but we will also consider training for the right candidate. About us Taunton Road Medical Centre is in Bridgwater, a town at the foot of the Quantock hills in the picturesque county of Somerset. We are a busy training practice with a large clinical team of GPs, ACPs, Nurses and HCAs with a focus on the development of medical students, trainee doctors, student nurses, and apprentices. Identify, manage, and support patients at risk of developing long-term conditions, preventing adverse effects on the patients health. Help manage patients with chronic diseases by using appropriate assessment and treatment skills, with an underpinning knowledge of relevant pharmacological treatments and lifestyle management.
