An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 female Personal Assistants to provide support to a lady who is a wheelchair user with daily living and to access the local community. No lifting will be required for this person.
There are two positions available for support. One person is required in the morning and one in the evening.
Morning support includes support with getting up, dressed and to be around when in the shower. Support will also include possible meal preparation and domestic support such as light cleaning. Support with paperwork and ordering anything online when required. No toileting needs required.
Plus further hours available for outings if wanted including support including getting in and out of a specialised wheelchair accessible hatchback car when necessary, going shopping and local outings.
Hours to include 8.30 to 10am Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday with possibility of more to follow on certain days by agreement of applicant.
Evening support includes getting ready for bed and light cleaning tasks.
Hours to include 8.30pm till 9.00 or 9.30 on agreement of applicant on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
We are looking for people who are cheerful with a sense of humour, common sense, ability to problem solve and have initiative to complete tasks as needed.
Previous experience is not required as training will be provided, but a positive attitude and good work ethic is essential. Basic computer and internet skills would be helpful for the morning position. A car driver is preferred. If applicant is a driver this person would need a full clean licence.
Hourly rate of £15 plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and workplace pension scheme available.
