The Role We’re looking for an experienced Deployment Software Engineer - Robotics (DevOps) (m/f/d) to join lead our Engineering strategies. In your day to day work, you’ll focus on deploying, configuring, and maintaining state-of-the-art robotic systems — streamlining integration, automating deployment processes, and ensuring continuous delivery pipelines — and have the opportunity to contribute to various innovative projects. To join our team, you should be excited to Deploy, configure and maintain robotic systems including controllers, networking (CAN, Ethernet, wireless), and associated software stacks. Set up and manage robotic platforms ensuring robust deployment pipelines in diverse environments. Integrate and scale robotic solutions effectively using DevOps practices in production environments. Collaborate with the software team to deploy, validate, and monitor firmware, drivers, and system configurations. Implement and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines for seamless continuous software delivery. Automate deployment processes with scripting tools like Python and Bash. Work with testing teams to ensure systems meet operational standards and to support system-level debugging. Document deployment procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for future reference. Your Profile Proven experience in deploying and configuring embedded or robotic systems in production environments. Strong knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Ethernet, serial, wireless) and fundamental networking principles. Hands-on experience in managing CI/CD pipelines and implementing DevOps practices, particularly in robotics or embedded systems. Proficiency in Linux environments and familiarity with command-line tools for deployment, monitoring, and debugging. Solid skills in automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash), complemented by a strong understanding of Git and version control strategies. Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams. Experience with ROS is a plus.
