Asset Analyst
Location: Epsom (Moving to Horley in 2025)
Salary: £24-25k
Working Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days in the office, 3 days at home)
Our client is a fast-growing technology-based business with a market-leading position. They are seeking an Asset Analyst to join their team. The purpose of this role is to track energy meters and maintain asset data that underpins the portfolio, while resolving enquiries from customers and colleagues.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
1. Produce analysis and tools that provide information needed to maximise the value of the asset portfolio.
2. Own, improve, and keep up to date a suite of tools that help turn asset data into actionable insight.
3. Support the Team Leader in identifying issues or opportunities for improvement and drive forward the design and implementation of cost-effective solutions.
4. Maintain asset data to ensure maximised life and value.
5. Ensure metering databases and registers are up to date and accurate through exception reporting.
6. Perform routine reconciliations against information held in industry databases, solving any mismatches that arise.
7. Assist in the production of routine departmental KPI reports and Management Information for the senior management team.
8. Monitor the removal of meters and liaise with companies that remove them to ensure meter value maintenance.
9. Maintain Network systems to ensure they are up to date and accurate.
10. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver first-class asset service.
11. Manage central queries mailboxes, resolving all query types within standard timescales and escalating as required.
12. Resolve complex queries involving data analysis, reviewing audit trails, and liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
13. Support colleagues and proactively share knowledge to ensure continuity of good quality service.
14. Challenge and support in the creation and review of procedures for continuous service improvement.
15. Participate in regular training and learning activities to maintain and develop skills and knowledge.
16. Ensure health and safety compliance for yourself and others, using work equipment safely and cooperating with management for safe systems of work.
17. Perform any other reasonable duties as required.
Requirements
* Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
* Up-to-date with advances in the business area, new methods, and ways of working.
* Strong administrative and organisational skills.
* Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Confident and accurate use of departmental computer systems/databases.
