As a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centered care and services to support individuals and teams. Working within a collaborative environment, you will provide essential services tailored to meet the unique needs of those we serve.
Based in Swindon, you will have the flexibility to work within a model that supports both on-site and hybrid working arrangements, depending on the nature of the role. Main Responsibility
As a Speech and Language Therapist, your responsibilities will include:
1. Delivering compassionate, outcome-focused services in line with the role’s requirements.
2. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve key performance indicators and ensure high-quality service delivery.
3. Identifying and addressing service needs at the earliest opportunity and implementing appropriate interventions.
4. Working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service effectiveness.
5. Maintaining accurate records and ensuring effective communication with relevant parties.
6. Adhering to professional standards, policies, and regulatory frameworks to support organizational goals.
The post-holder will work together in the team to provide comprehensive, specialist SLT services to culturally diverse service users with a learning disability, autism, and co-occurring conditions. Service users will have complex needs, including mental health problems, physical health issues, and may display distressed behaviours/ behaviours that challenge.

6. Holds a valid driving licence.
