Job Title: Conveyancing Paralegal Location: Hamilton, Scotland About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join a well-established and reputable legal firm based in Hamilton. Our client, a firm with a rich history dating back to the mid-1980s, has expanded significantly and now boasts a team of four directors and around thirty support staff, including qualified solicitors and specialist paralegals. They pride themselves on delivering a client-focused service, simplifying legal processes and building lasting relationships. Key Responsibilities: Managing a caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from inception to completion. Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including contracts, transfers, and deeds. Conducting property searches and investigations. Liaising with clients, solicitors, and other stakeholders. Handling all aspects of post-completion procedures. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case files. Providing administrative support to the conveyancing team. Essential Requirements: Proven experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal, ideally within a busy legal environment. Comprehensive knowledge of residential conveyancing procedures and legislation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational and time management abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in legal case management systems and Microsoft Office Suite. A meticulous attention to detail.
