About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Workday Finance Consultant to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing and optimizing Workday Financial Management solutions, ensuring our finance processes run seamlessly. Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and support the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Workday Financial Management modules.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business needs, provide best-practice solutions, and deliver enhancements.
3. Translate finance processes into Workday solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals.
4. Facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and document functional specifications.
5. Support testing (e.g., UAT, SIT) and provide end-user training to ensure smooth adoption.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues post-implementation, delivering ongoing support and improvements.
7. Work closely with internal teams and third-party vendors to meet project milestones and deadlines.
Key Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Workday Finance Consultant, with a strong track record in Workday Financial Management (e.g., Core Financials, AP/AR, Reporting, Assets, Procurement).
2. Workday certification in Financial Management is highly desirable.
3. Experience with at least [X number] of Workday implementations or significant projects.
4. Strong knowledge of finance processes and operations within mid-to-large organizations.
5. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
6. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and drive results in a contract role.
7. Experience in integrating Workday with other financial systems.
8. Proficiency in Workday Adaptive Planning or reporting tools.
9. Background in finance or accounting (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
