Finance Process Consultant - 9 Month FTC | Global Professional Services Group, Central London (Hybrid, 2-3 days a week in office) | Up to £70,000 benefits pro-rata | An opportunity has been created for a Finance Process Consultant to join a leading global £multi-billion turnover Professional Services group, operating within the UK, Europe, US and Asia-PAC markets. Key Responsibilities of the Finance Process Consultant Support global finance users on policy and process matters, including SAP4 Hana and SAP R/3 usage; document policies and processes for the Finance manual, prepare training materials, and communicate changes. Maintain matter management systems within and outside SAP4 Hana and SAP R/3, covering matter opening, time recording, billing, debt collection, and ensuring timely responses and proper testing of changes. Approve authorisations and access requests, ensuring compliance with finance policies, segregation of duties, and conducting periodic authorisation reviews with global finance managers and auditors. Perform regular system error checks, promptly resolving issues with end users and departments (HR, ISS) while assessing impacts and escalating when necessary. Prepare change requests documentation, work with Technology on implementation and testing of improvements, and support senior PI colleagues with strategic and BAU projects, including user training. Skills & Attributes of the Finance Process Consultant 2 to 3 years of finance experience, including expertise in legal billing, eBilling, time recording, WIP management, and cash collection. Experience in the professional services industry with a focus on finance operations. Proficiency in SAP4 Hana and/or SAP R/3, with a strong understanding of financial systems. Advanced MS Excel skills, essential for reporting and data analysis. Strong awareness of international finance team risks and priorities in a global firm context.
