About the role We are seeking a skilled and motivated Website and SEO Manager to join our team in Nottingham. As the Website and SEO Manager, you will be responsible for the full ownership and management of three websites under the Jigsaw24 brand, including one e-commerce store. Additionally, you will oversee two additional content sites. This is a new role in the business as a result of increased web real estate and is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our online presence and drive our digital success. We are looking for a forward-thinking individual that will help drive our online potential. Key duties and responsibilities are: Take full ownership of three websites under the Jigsaw24 umbrella, ensuring they are visually appealing, functional and user-friendly. Manage and maintain an e-commerce store, ensuring smooth transactions, secure payment processing and an exceptional customer experience. Collaborate with a third-party agency on a day-to-day basis to oversee website management, reporting and development. This includes management of issue and development requests, and ensuring timely completion of tasks. Understanding the requirements from across the business and the impact across the site architecture, including accessibility needs, partner requirements and portal integrations. Utilise Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and other platforms as required to analyse performance, identify areas for improvement and implement effective strategies. Manage and develop SEO activity across the site, including project managing internal teams to develop SEO across both product and content to improve searchability. Manage the live chat facility, working with our desk-based sales team to ensure chat is optimised, monitored and reported on. Maintain website security measures in line with compliance requirements, working with internal teams and the third-party agency to ensure we have a 360 view of web security, updates, backups and addressing vulnerabilities as needed. Work with internal IS and IT teams on any development and integration requirements for the websites, ensuring seamless deployment. Oversee the annual web maintenance budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resource and support from all parties and tools. Work closely with the marketing and design teams to implement website updates, promotions, merchandising opportunities and new content. Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies to continually enhance the website performance and user experience. Education, Skills, Knowledge and Experience: Proven experience in website management, preferably in an e-commerce environment. Proficiency in managing Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and other Google platforms. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) – experience with Wordpress is desirable but not essential. Knowledge of website security best practices and experience in managing payment tools on e-commerce platforms Previous experience in managing a live chat facility is desirable, but a focus on excellent customer experience is essential. Strong project management skills, including the ability to work effectively with third-party agencies and prioritise internal and external tasks. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. A proactive and detail-oriented approach, with the ability to identify and resolve issues promptly.
