We are recruiting for the role of Evolution Wing Facilitator to join this dedicated team at HMP The Mount in Hertfordshire. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality interventions to offenders. Your efforts will help develop their confidence and encourage a positive mindset through structured programs and personalized support. Interventions can include one-to-one support or group work training among small groups.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Delivery and Coordination: Collaborate with prison CFO colleagues to manage all Wing stages including induction, assessment, support work, the 3-phase delivery, education and training, and pre-release preparation.
2. Facilitation of Interventions: Conduct structured interventions, which include one-to-one support and group work training among small groups, as outlined in the Wing timetable.
3. Peer Mentor Support: Recruit, train, and provide support for Wing Peer Mentors.
4. Case Management: Update case notes and input achievements onto CATS+, the CFO Evolution case management recording system, ensuring a high level of compliance to avoid rejected achievements.
5. Stakeholder Relationships: Build, manage, and maintain relationships within the prison to ensure a steady flow of referrals and prevent duplication of services.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with other CFO Evolution staff to ensure smooth transitions through the gate.
7. Participant Coordination: Collaborate with feeder prison CFO staff to provide suitable eligible prisoners to the Wing.
8. Record Keeping: Ensure that P-Nomis, the prison case management recording system, is updated with relevant information about participants, such as achievements, actions, safety, and security.
9. Through the Gate Support: Provide support into the community for participants where appropriate.

You might have previously worked within education or will have experience of delivering group training and support/interventions, ideally within criminal justice.
