My client is a trusted name in the repair and maintenance of rotating equipment, is looking for a dedicated Workshop Engineer to join our their in Exeter.\n \n This role is ideal for someone with a strong engineering background who thrives in a hands-on, workshop-based environment.\n \n The Role: Workshop Engineer\n - Repair and refurbish electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment.\n - Carry out fault diagnosis, testing, and servicing of mechanical and electrical components.\n - Strip down and reassemble equipment to ensure optimal performance.\n - Work to high safety and quality standards, maintaining accurate records.\n - Collaborate with the engineering team to meet deadlines and customer requirements.\n \n Minimum Skills / Experience Required: Workshop Engineer\n - Experience in mechanical or electrical engineering, preferably within a workshop environment.\n - Knowledge of electric motors, pumps, or gearboxes is highly desirable.\n - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.\n - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\n - A team player with a proactive approach to work.\n \n The Package: Workshop Engineer\n - Base Salary £13.50-£17.00 per hour (depending on experience)\n - Day shifts 8am-5pm Mon-Fri 40 hour week\n - Overtime with additional on-call work opportunities\n - 28 days holiday\n - Pension scheme\n\nInterested?
