A Cambridge primary school is seeking a dedicated Learning Mentor to provide one-on-one and group support to pupils facing challenges in their learning journey.
As a Learning Mentor, you will:
1. Offer tailored support to pupils who may be struggling with confidence, behaviour, or social-emotional challenges.
2. Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to create individual action plans for progress.
3. Act as a positive role model, inspiring pupils to develop resilience and self-belief.
4. Organise and lead activities that promote personal development and emotional well-being.
We’re looking for someone with:
1. Previous experience in pastoral support, youth work, counselling, or a similar role.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. A calm, patient, and supportive nature.
4. A commitment to safeguarding and a current Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
