Are you an Occupational Therapist with substantial post qualification experience working in a social care or health setting? If so, then this could be the post for you. We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join Adult Social Care in Walsall as an Advanced Practitioner leading OT provision within our Locality Teams. About the job You will be responsible for the day-to-day practice of the Occupational Therapists within the locality teams. The OTs work closely with social work colleagues supporting people with long term care and support needs to remain in their own homes for as long as possible. As Advanced Practitioner you will prioritise and allocate work and support the OT staff group to manage caseloads effectively ensuring compliance with our Performance Framework. Working in partnership with the Principal OT you will ensure practice is of the highest standard and aligns with our Quality Assurance Framework, identifying and where appropriate addressing any development needs. About You You will be a registered occupational therapist with substantial post qualifying experience preferably working in an adult social care setting. Your will have experience of managing complex case work including moving and handling/single handed care, referral for Disabled Facilities Grants and identifying potential for reablement. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate competence with supporting staff, students and/or apprentices and commitment to their continual professional development.
