We are seeking an Accounts Semi Senior to join our team based in Stoke on Trent.
The duties of an Accounts Semi Senior will include:
* Preparing limited company accounts
* Preparing and submitting statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and small limited companies
* Effectively liaise with clients, HMRC and colleagues to resolve queries.
* Preparation of self-assessment tax returns (an advantage)
* Reviewing and submitting VAT returns
* Understanding and preparation of payroll
We are seeking an Accounts Semi Senior who:
* Excellent communication skills.
* A working knowledge of Accounting packages (Excel, Xero, Sage, QB etc)
* Good organisational skills.
* Able to Mentor trainee members of staff when required.
* AAT Qualified / QBE / Part ACCA qualified
* Friendly, punctual, presentable and polite.
* Ability to work well under pressure within a team and individually with a positive attitude
* Driving licence & access to own car
