We are currently inviting applications for the role of: Receptionist – Wellbeing Centre St Margaret’s has a strong commitment to the wellbeing of students and staff and in support to our commitment in this area, in 2025, we will open our Wellbeing Centre in Community House. Community House will become home to the Chaplain, School Psychologists and Career Counsellors and will include dedicated spaces for wellness activities such as yoga and mindfulness. Community House has a special place in the history of St Margaret’s as it previously was home to the school’s founders, the Sisters of the Sacred Advent. In a fitting acknowledgement to the history of the Sisters and the lasting legacy they have left for the wellbeing of girls, the Wellbeing Centre will have archival material on display. The Receptionist has an important role to play in creating a welcoming, inclusive and supportive environment by providing a friendly and efficient first point of contact to the Wellbeing Centre. This role acts as a connection point for students, parents, staff and visitors to Wellbeing Centre. In addition to providing a professional and friendly reception service, the role provides administrative support across the pastoral care team as required. About you The successful candidate will have exceptional customer service and communication skills and demonstrate the following: Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to ensure all visitors to reception feel welcomed. A positive and calm demeanour and the ability to assist to effectively problem solve situations quickly and proactively. The drive and ability to quickly acquire knowledge about all facets of St Margaret’s pastoral care program to confidently answer enquiries and support the pastoral care team. A team player who draws satisfaction from supporting others and is equally effective working autonomous. Previous reception experience would be advantageous however not essential. There is the opportunity train a candidate who has excellent customer service skills and experience. Sound computer skills, including the Microsoft suite.
