You will be leading and working as part of a small project Management team with on-the-job training. We design, develop and manufacture engine dynamometer products and systems. Our customers include Ford, GM, Rolls Royce, Volkswagen, Siemens, GE, Pratt & Whitney and a variety of other major international companies. Froude is headquartered in Novi, Michigan USA and we have a manufacturing centre in Worcester, United Kingdom. The Role: The Manager of Project Management is a leadership role working to strengthen Froude’s ability to meet customer commitments regarding cost, schedule, and performance. The position manages the front line positions with direct relationships with our customers and many of our vendors thereby making this position key to ensuring these relationships work to broaden and grow our excellence and our relationships in our industry. Management of all Project Management staff Training and advanced learning Establishing procedures and systems for best practices and excellence Inspiration and improvement through performance reviews and daily supervision Organizational strategy, working with Sales & Marketing, for all company products. Measurement and analysis of Project Management performance Oversight of proposal activity for accuracy and risk Communicating Project issues, strategy, and the oversight of Project Management communications to employees & management Assign Project Management resources to projects both internally and externally funded. Requirements Three to Five years of experience in project management Three to Five years of experience managing people Preferred Skills & Qualifications Professional degree, MPM, Prince2 or equivalent experience Experience with Dynamometers or Engine technology Experience crafting a project management team of qualified engineers. Experience for schedule, performance, and cost for developmental projects Experience with commercial issues and sales support
