A recruitment consultant is accountable for delivering their committed sales revenue for the business through the effective management of applicants and where applicable clients through the full recruitment cycle. Responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maximising the current and future sales opportunities for the business and ensuring we meet our client and candidates expectations at all stages of the recruitment process.

* Actively resources candidates through headhunting.
* Consistently updates the database history for all client and candidate activity ensuring high levels of accuracy to assist in company reporting and consistent customer service
* Demonstrates understanding of all internal and external customer’s needs, setting high levels of service standards and understands the impact of non-fulfilment of vacancies
* Ensures that all customer contact is professional and courteous.
* Pro-actively plans and organises time to ensure effective use of day, identifying and prioritising key tasks.
* Builds strong candidate relationships, ensuring a full understanding of the candidate’s career aspirations and influencing factors, positively encouraging the candidate at all times
* Accurately assesses candidate’s potential, operational and behavioural competency levels
* Ensures candidates are fully prepared for client assessments and interviews
* Ensures candidates are thoroughly and professionally screened assessing candidates fairly and against key criteria and job specifications at all times
* Carries out detailed competency interviews for all candidates face to face where possible and over the telephone
* Advertising and Vacancy Marketing
* Manage ad response and ensure that advertising is constantly reviewed through all data available to maximize quality of candidate response
* Writes Vacancy advertisements in line with current legislation and ensures that they are based on a written person specification.
