Role Overview
This is a part-time, flexible role that combines office management with PA responsibilities. You will provide critical support across HR, finance, operations, and events, ensuring the smooth running of the Guild's office and activities. The role also includes supporting an office relocation process and co-ordinating governance functions such as setting up meetings and preparing papers.
The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative and organisational skills, with a background in generic administrative HR and finance. We are looking for someone who can take initiative, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and aligns with our commitment to professionalism and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Office Management
* Oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of the office.
* Manage external contractors and handle facilities management tasks.
* Lead the office relocation process.
Executive Assistance
* Provide PA support, including diary management and general assistance to leadership.
* Organise governance activities, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and circulating minutes.
HR and Finance Support
* Assist with HR administration
* Handle basic finance tasks, such as invoice processing and budget tracking.
Event Planning
* Coordinate logistics for events, including booking venues, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring smooth event execution.
Skills and Qualifications
Required:
* Proven experience in administrative, HR and/or finance roles.
* Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Strong written and verbal communication.
* Ability to take initiative and work independently.
Role Details
* Location: Flexible; local to Tamworth/Lichfield area preferred. Remote PA support may also be considered.
* Working hours: 21 hours per week, with flexible scheduling.
