We are now looking for a Lifting Project Manager to help lead the development of lifting equipment projects in collaboration with subcontractors, ensuring equipment meets safety, performance, and compliance standards.
What will you do?
As our new Lifting Project Manager, you will oversee the full project lifecycle, from design and engineering to manufacturing and testing, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Your main tasks include:
1. Providing technical guidance and support to subcontractors and internal teams, resolving technical challenges, and optimizing equipment performance.
2. Developing lifting and construction concepts in cooperation with the engineering department.
3. Ensuring that all lifting equipment complies with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies, promoting a strong safety culture.
4. Implementing quality control measures to ensure that lifting equipment is manufactured to the highest standards and meets project requirements in cooperation with the quality department.
5. Maintaining accurate project records, including specifications, design documents, test results, and certifications.
6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams within Cadeler to ensure seamless integration of lifting equipment into foundation installation projects.
7. Monitoring project progress and equipment performance, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and addressing any deviations from project objectives.
8. Building and maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
9. Identifying opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and innovation in lifting equipment design and development.

We are looking for a problem solver, who has strong project management, communication and interpersonal skills. Someone who is detail-oriented with a structured and focused approach to their work. We are looking for a profile with a safety-oriented mindset who is adaptable to the dynamic nature of the offshore work environment.
We think you will be a good match if you:
1. Hold a relevant academic background such as a BSc or MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical field.
2. Have strong technical expertise in lifting and rigging operations.
3. Have prior knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards such as DNV-ST-N001, DNV-ST-0378, LOLER, EN 13001.
4. Have prior experience in lifting equipment design, development, and project management.
5. Have prior experience in the offshore wind or maritime industry (advantageous).
6. Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
