We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our client and play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable operations while delivering outstanding service to their clients. About the Role As Operations Manager, you will work alongside the General Manager to optimise operations, meet financial targets, and maintain high safety standards. Leading supervisors and teams, you'll ensure resources are utilised effectively, team performance is maximised, and client expectations are consistently exceeded. Transport and quayside operational experience are required for this role. Key Responsibilities Support the General Manager in achieving operational and financial goals. Lead, motivate, and manage supervisors and operational teams. Deliver services in line with contractual agreements and KPIs. Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with policies and legislation. Build effective relationships with clients, addressing needs and managing expectations. Manage budgets, drive performance, and support continuous improvement. What You'll Need Significant experience in a similar operations role, ideally in logistics, transport or CCU rental. Strong leadership and team management skills. Commercial and financial acumen, including experience managing budgets. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Proficiency in IT, including MS Office, and a focus on delivering excellent customer service. IOSH Managing Safely and Top Set Lead Investigation qualifications (preferred).
