You have an exciting opportunity to join an award winning team as a Therapy and Wellbeing Assistant within our Rehab and Wellbeing Service.
This role is a key appointment in the development of a new model of support delivered by the service to encourage a rehab and enablement approach across all areas of the Hospice.

What will I be doing?
1. Assisting our occupational therapist and physiotherapists in an inclusive therapy/clinical support role.
2. Working collaboratively as part of the MDT promoting a high standard of therapeutic and rehabilitative care for our patients, both within the Hospice and at the patients' own homes.
3. Be responsible for managing a designated caseload along with ongoing assessment, treatment, intervention and discharge planning of patients assigned by an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist at the Hospice.
4. Coordinate and deliver the Therapeutic group programme content at Garden House as designed by members of the clinical MDT, under the supervision of the service lead and therapists.
What skills do I need?
1. An NVQ level 3 or relevant experience working as an Occupational Therapy Assistant / Physiotherapy Assistant / Health Care Assistant.
2. A current Driving Licence and have the use of a car for business purposes.
