SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Logistics Administrator based in Newark, Nottinghamshire Area. This role is in the ideal location for candidates based in Newark, Bingham, Lincoln and the surrounding areas. This permanent position is well suited to an individual that is looking to advance their career in a thriving and supportive workplace Previous experience within Operations role is essential, ideally within a fast-paced business to business organisation. Ideally you will have a background within either manufacturing/transport/production/planning. Intermediate/Advanced Excel & SAP skills are key to be successful within this role - Excel skills are a must Responsibilities Include: - Maintaining the relevant daily and monthly reports - Data entry - Strong Excel skills are a must - General admin ad hoc tasks within the department - Responsible for day-to-day processing activities ensuring that sales, goods movements and logistics processes run smoothly. - Responsible for maintaining, analysing and reconciling daily and monthly reports within Excel and implementing corrections or solutions where required - Accountable for effectively managing individual tasks and workload whilst also supporting the overall team where necessary - Responsible for ensuring all importation of deliveries are monitored, recorded and communicated - Responsible for reconciling and overseeing stock reports to ensure effective stock management across all company storage locations - Responsible for reconciling and overseeing the business database, ensuring all data is correct and up to date to enable all departments to efficiently process queries and orders - Responsible for updating and reconciling the business CRM system, ensuring all data is correct and up to date to enable all departments to efficiently process orders. - Responsible for gathering data to generate KPI and month end reports accurately and providing analysis where required, ensuring all reports are submitted in a timely manner for review by the Operations manager. The ideal candidate will have: - A self-motivated person, driven to get things done. - Ability to work under own initiative with strong organisation skills. - Brilliant communication skills and a great ability to translate plan into action. - Proficiency of Microsoft Office. - A 'can do' attitude and confident in multitasking. - Effective time management skills with the ability to meet set deadlines. - Attention to detail with the ability to analyse information. You must have a strong attention to detail and be able to demonstrate strong administration skills.
