Deanston Cooper’s client, one of Scotland’s leading privately owned civil engineering contractors, have a current requirement for a HSQE Manager to be based out of their office in Dundee. With over 160 employees, this role is crucial for driving projects forward with the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Your duties as HSQE Manager will include:
* Supporting and advising the senior leadership team to ensure compliance with applicable legislation and Approved Codes of Practice.
* Providing hands-on, visible leadership of the health & Safety agenda.
* Proactively seeking out opportunities for improvement.
* Developing, implementing, monitoring and reviewing the Health, Safety and Environmental Management systems.
* Leading on all accident and incident investigations and preparing comprehensive, factually accurate reports with actions to prevent reoccurrence.
* Liaising with regulatory bodies as required, such as the HSE and SEPA.
* Reviewing Pre-Construction Information and preparing Construction Phase Plans.
* Developing, implementing and reviewing all RAMS, COSHH, DSE, Fire Risk Assessments etc.
* Reviewing sub-contractor RAMS.
* Undertaking site inspection and audits.
* Ensuring all training is planned and co-ordinated to meet business needs.
* Managing a small team of safety professionals.

Salary is up to £60 000 plus company vehicle / car allowance, bonus and pension
