About the Role:
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to lead the growth of a new product segment in the renewable energy sector. The role will see you elevating the product within its significant addressable market and delivering appropriate marketing plans to address all parties from Developers, OEMs, financing parties, Owners, Engineers to Contractors in the relevant project sector.
You will own and drive the growth of the product with responsibilities to include:
1. Constant monitoring of performance against the plan via regular reviews and the preparation of relevant reports.
2. Continued development of presentations and marketing materials as designs progress and are certified.
3. Liaison between Consultant and Client for design development and tendering.
4. Identifying opportunities and delivery of tenders for the Mobile Business.
5. Face-to-face presentations each month as agreed with the manager.
6. Active support to local sales resources to ensure accuracy and professionalism of solutions offered.
7. Development and delivery of product line sales targets.
8. Developing and growing a team to support business growth in sales and project management.
9. Maintaining and enhancing positive working relationships with customers to build customer loyalty and maximise future business opportunities.
10. Providing accurate and timely forecasts of future demand and communicating market intelligence to optimise customer contact plans.
11. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships within the business.
About You:
You are a strategic, commercially minded professional with proven leadership, sales and marketing expertise and credible experience in the construction industry - ideally within the wind energy sector. You thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and have the proven ability to develop and grow a business from the ground up.
Desired Qualifications & Skills:
1. Qualifications in Civil Engineering or related disciplines (preferred but not essential).
2. Experience within the construction industry (essential).
3. Experience within the wind industry (ideal).
4. Demonstrable experience at taking a construction-related solution and building a business behind it.
5. Strong and relevant marketing and sales management experience.
6. Credible project/project management experience.
7. A self-motivated and outcomes-oriented attitude with a passionate 'can do' mindset.
8. Highly effective skills at managing key stakeholder relationships.
9. A strong team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
10. A well-developed understanding of the importance of and ability to effectively communicate and build relationships both externally and within the business.
11. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Sales Force and other systems required to do the role effectively.
