About our opportunity:
The Assistant Maintenance Manager is responsible for supporting the Maintenance Manager in overseeing the maintenance operations of the company. This includes coordinating and supervising maintenance staff, ensuring the timely completion of maintenance tasks, and implementing preventive maintenance programs. The Assistant Maintenance Manager reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and collaborates closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and efficient maintenance processes.
What you will be doing:
Responsibilities of Assistant Maintenance Manager
• Assisting the Maintenance Manager in overseeing the maintenance operations of the company.
• Coordinating and scheduling maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Conducting regular inspections of equipment, machinery, and facilities to identify maintenance needs.
• Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Managing and supervising a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Monitoring inventory levels of spare parts and equipment, ensuring availability for maintenance and repairs.
• Collaborating with other departments to prioritize maintenance tasks and minimize disruptions to operations.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and equipment history.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction in maintenance operations.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment for maintenance staff.

• Experience in Electrical Systems and Controls preferred.
• Qualified Candidates will need 3 years of relevant experience and knowledge, in both electrical and mechanical systems.
