Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant (Secondary)
Location: Quidenham, Norwich
Salary: £21,709.61 - £22,388.59 (dependent on experience)
Hourly Rate: £12.15 - £12.53 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week, Term Time only
Working Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm (5pm on Thursdays, with an additional half hour off on another day) ...

We are seeking enthusiastic Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team in supporting students with a variety of special educational needs. Working closely with teachers and therapy teams, you will help create an environment where students can engage with their academic and social surroundings, promoting independence and development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Build warm, supportive relationships with students to help them feel safe and engaged in their learning.
2. Promote independence, personal growth, and maintain high behavioural standards.
3. Support the delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum by contributing to challenging and differentiated learning activities.
4. Assist the Class Teacher in the day-to-day running of the class and adapt to the school's changing needs.
5. Promote students' cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
6. Work collaboratively within a multi-professional team.
Requirements:
7. GCSE Maths and English (minimum Grade 4 or equivalent).
8. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or currently working towards this).
9. Knowledge of safeguarding principles and child protection procedures.
10. Experience working with students with SEMH and ASD.
11. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (due to location).
