Job Description
We’re recruiting for Assistant Propositions Manager to join us. Supporting key activities within the Product & Propositions Development team, you'll ensure our products are fit for purpose; meet customer needs and stand up to regulatory scrutiny. You will be responsible for producing accurate MI, compiling key risk documents and contributing to strategic projects in order to support the delivery of the Retail Protection Product Strategy.What you'll be doing:
1. Developing and reviewing L&G Retail Protection products, market analysis and competitor offerings by monitoring and analysing a wide range of MI. Use this analysis to produce reports to be used by stakeholders to support the identification of opportunities and optimise L&G Retail Protection end-to-end product propositions, customer outcomes and New Business Value Add
2. Working collaboratively to support the delivery of product and proposition developments in line with the Retail Protection Product Strategy, working with cross-functional areas to maximise the commercial benefits and customer outcomes of developments
3. Supporting the product team in producing supporting documentation for key committees to gain approval for product developments
4. Supporting product launches by producing sales briefing and training documents
5. Driving to maintain market leading ranking on key comparison portals e.g. F&TRC, CI Expert
6. Supporting Product Managers with post-launch reviews through the collation of MI, qualitative and quantitative data and drafting documents where required
7. Owning any team mailbox queries, invoice payment process and updating internal sources of information regarding Protection Products so these are always accurate and easily accessible across the business
QualificationsWho we're looking for:
8. Microsoft Office
9. Protection Product knowledge is an advantage
10. MI presentation and report collating knowledge
11. Statistical analysis and story telling around data
12. Familiar with Power BI, and Excel data manipulation desirable
13. Product review experience is an advantage
14. Good at communicating with stakeholders at an array of levels
