BMSL require an Administration Assistant for the Cramlington area to work on Maternity Cover for a period of 1 year which may lead to Full-Time. The duties include:
1. Integrate successfully with the existing business, relevant departments, and staff.
2. Foster excellent relations with clients, staff, and suppliers.
3. Work to consistently improve the HR culture within the business.
4. Provide quality services in specific areas.
5. Bring new ideas to the business, particularly to enhance our Client's brand and awareness.
6. Have the capacity to deliver a diversity of requirements within a working day.
7. Have a flexible approach to workload.
Purpose, Objectives & Responsibilities
1. Provide the leadership, energy, and enthusiasm to deliver your objectives and strategic goals, including:
2. Support all administration within the Plant and Stores function, including updating systems, processes, and databases.
3. Act as the first port of call for employees and external partners for all stock & plant related queries.
4. Process, scan, and file delivery documents on behalf of the head of stores.
5. Communicate with external partners.
6. File certification for all applicable materials for full traceability.
7. Support the material coordinator in their daily tasks, which include but are not limited to:
8. Receive delivery notes from storeman/head of plant & stores and log information onto the Wasp system to ensure fully traceable weld logs can be produced.
Skills and Competencies
1. Experience in an Administrator/Coordinator role.
2. Understanding of various software systems.
3. Computer literate with programs such as Word, Excel, etc., is essential.
4. Organizational skills and ability to organize and prioritize.
5. Interpersonal skills with good communication abilities.
